Medical records of 65 eyes with PWS(PWS group:mean age 24.7±5.9 years)and 109 eyes without PWS (control group:mean age 22.9±6.2 years)were acquired and compared from January 2000 to November 2018. Best-corrected visual acuity(BCVA)was determined and DR scores were assigned.\nResults:BCVA was significantly low in PWS group compared with the controls(P<0.001). Pseudophakia was frequently observed in patients in the PWS group(P=0.024). No significant differences were found with respect to cataract(P=0.065)and DR score(P=0.77)between patients in the PWS and control groups. Investigations into the possible causes of the low BCVA in the PWS group found no significant difference regarding strabismus(P=0.065). However, significant differences were found between both groups with respect to amblyopia(P<0.01). Visual acuity examinations were incomplete in some patients with PWS because of their inability to concentrate(P<0.01).\nConclusions:There was no correlation between DR progression and PWS. Lower BCVA in PWS patients was likely owing to amblyopia and incomplete visual acuity examination owing to inability of patients with PWS to concentrate.","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_10001_publisher_8":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"獨協医学会"}]},"item_10001_source_id_11":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AA00629581","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_10001_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"03855023","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_10001_text_25":{"attribute_name":"著者所属(英)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_text_language":"en","subitem_text_value":"Department of Ophthalmology, Dokkyo Medical University Saitama Medical Center, Koshigaya, Japan"},{"subitem_text_language":"en","subitem_text_value":"Department of Pedatrics, Dokkyo Medical University Saitama Medical Center, Koshigaya, Japan"},{"subitem_text_language":"en","subitem_text_value":"Department of Pedatrics, Dokkyo Medical University Saitama Medical Center, Koshigaya, Japan"},{"subitem_text_language":"en","subitem_text_value":"Department of Ophthalmology, Dokkyo Medical University Saitama Medical Center, Koshigaya, Japan"}]},"item_10001_text_33":{"attribute_name":"記事種別","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_text_value":"Original"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Muto, Tetsuya","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Oto, Yuji","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Murakami, Nobuyuki","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Machida, Shigeki","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2019-09-30"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"DJMS-46-2-5.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"158.0 kB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"DJMS-46-2-Muto-本文","url":"https://dmu.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/2189/files/DJMS-46-2-5.pdf"},"version_id":"4d56dea3-7ca4-4044-baec-c40451b0689b"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"diabetic retinopathy","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Prader-Willi Syndrome","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"amblyopia","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"visual acuity","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"journal article","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"Ophthalmic Features in Prader-Willi Syndrome Patients with Type-2 Diabetes Mellitus","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"Ophthalmic Features in Prader-Willi Syndrome Patients with Type-2 Diabetes Mellitus"}]},"item_type_id":"10001","owner":"14","path":["179"],"publish_date":"2019-10-07","publish_status":"0","recid":"2189","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Ophthalmic Features in Prader-Willi Syndrome Patients with Type-2 Diabetes Mellitus"],"weko_creator_id":"14","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-06-20T15:30:38.787502+00:00"}
