A major factor has been pointed out as a lack of presentation skills among researchers. PubMed, operated by the National Center for Biotechnology Information （NCBI） in the U.S., is an authoritative non-profit academic site used by medical researchers around the world, where international research papers are published.\n　In Japan, five English journals published by medical schools are listed in Journal Citation Reports as well as PubMed, and are assigned a journal impact factor. In this paper presents the current status of English journals published in medical schools in Japan. In addition, the journal acceptance status of MEDLINE, published in PubMed is also presented.
