| 内容記述 | 癲狂院等の治療を目的とする精神医療施設ができたのは明治期からである．看護教育における精神看護教育は比較的最近でも比重が小さく，明治期の看護教育での精神看護の教育内容を明らかにし，明治期の精神看護教育の比重を検討することには意義がある．そこで，明治期の精神看護に関する看護書の記載内容を比較し，明治期の看護教育での精神看護と現代の精神看護を被殻検討することを目的とした．方法は10 点の明治期の看護書の精神看護に該当する部分の記述内容を比較し, 精神科看護婦・看護人に求められていた資質と援助についての項目を抽出し，クラスタ分析を行った．結果は記載された内容の特徴として, 精神科看護婦・看護人に求められていた資質についての要求と患者に対して必要とされた主な援助について項目を抽出分類し，各項目の分布特性についてクラスタ分析を行い，2 つのクラスタに分類できた．これらの結果から，明治期の精神看護教育は，「忍耐」「沈着」「同情」「誠実・誠意」「慈愛」「礼容」「身体の健康」「機敏」「精神病の知識」「公平」「清廉」などを看護婦・看護人に求め，「清潔援助」「自傷他害・自殺企図の観察」「危険物の確認」「逃走，自殺の危険がある場合，患者を一人にしてはならない」「作業療法」「潜在的ニードを察して援助する」などの援助を行うことを看護婦・看護人に求めるなど，多くの部分で現在と同様な考え方を教育していたという結論が導かれた． | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | The first Japanese psychiatric facilities were set up in the Meiji era. The position of psychiatric nursing and mental health nursing education in the Meiji era is worth serious consideration. This research purpose is to study the mental health nursing education during the Meiji era and compare details in the nursing textbooks in Meiji era. The first step is to compare the details of texts from mental health nursing's part of 10 nursing textbooks in the Meiji era. The next is to abstract the nature and support of the techniques which were required for mental health nurses and cluster analysis was performed about the distribution characteristic of each items. The result is, in the cluster analysis, each item has to be classified into two clusters. In conclusion, mental health nurses required "patience", "sympathy", "affection", "courtesy", "knowledge of mental diseases", "fairness", "honest", etc. as the nature, and "keeping clean", "observation of self-harm, mayhem and a suicide plan", "a check of a dangerous object", "occupational therapy", etc. as support techniques. Most of these items are necessary in nursing education. |
